The First Session of the National Symposium on Cardiac Arrhythmias Launches at the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad<\/p>\n

The first scientific session of the National Symposium on Cardiac Arrhythmias, hosted by the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, commenced with the participation of Iraqi and Arab experts from various specialized medical institutions and centers.<\/p>\n

The session opened with a scientific lecture on the historical development of the specialty of cardiac arrhythmias, presented by Dr. Ammar Al-Hamdi. He reviewed the pivotal stages in the emergence and development of this specialty, supporting his presentation with visual documentation that reflected the early beginnings and the scientific advancements witnessed in this field.<\/p>\n

The session was moderated by a scientific discussion panel comprised of Iraqi and Arab experts, including: Professor Dr. Mervat Abu Al-Maati from Egypt, Dr. Abbas Al-Sharifi, Dr. Tahseen Al-Kinani, Dr. Najah Al-Mousawi, Dr. Mahdi Al-Zaidy, and Dr. Wissam Al-Obaidi.<\/p>\n

The session featured scientific lectures by professors and specialists from within and outside Iraq, including: Professor Dr. Mohammed Hashim Al-Mayahi, Dr. Mohammed Al-Alfi from Egypt, Dr. Bernard Harbiya from Lebanon, Dr. Qasim Jabbar, Dr. Mohammed Hilal Al-Ali, Dr. Bahaa Abdullah, Dr. Mohammed Ameen, Dr. Arshad Fouad, and Dr. Ammar Saleh.<\/p>\n

The lectures in the first session addressed diverse topics, including cardiac rhythm management, modern treatment techniques, clinical approaches to common and complex cases, as well as a review of national experiences and a discussion of modern therapeutic challenges.<\/p>\n
