Under the Dean’s Direct Supervision and Sound Organizational Procedures<\/p>\n

The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad commenced its final examinations for the 2025-2026 academic year on Saturday, May 9, 2026. The examinations were conducted in a well-organized environment with direct on-site supervision by the Dean, Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul-Hassan Al-Alwany, and the Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Amer Thahir Hamidy. This reflects the College’s commitment to ensuring the smooth conduct of the examinations according to the highest academic standards.<\/p>\n

The Dean toured the examination halls to observe the progress of the exams, the level of organization, and the services provided to students. He emphasized the importance of creating a suitable environment that contributes to the disciplined and transparent conduct of the examinations, in line with the rigorous scientific approach adopted by the College of Medicine in Baghdad for preparing qualified medical professionals.<\/p>\n

During his tour, Dr. Ameen Al-Alwany emphasized the college’s commitment to providing all necessary logistical and technical support for the successful conduct of the examinations. He commended the significant efforts of the examination committee officials and members, as well as the technical support, monitoring, teaching, and administrative staff, in organizing the examination halls and overseeing the examination process in accordance with the approved ministerial instructions.<\/p>\n

The Dean also listened to the opinions of several students regarding the nature of the questions and their comprehensiveness in covering the curriculum. He expressed his best wishes for their success and excellence in their academic pursuits, which will contribute to providing the health sector with qualified medical professionals capable of meeting the demands of their work.<\/p>\n

The examinations covered various academic levels, with a particular focus on formative and clinical examinations for graduating students. This initiative aims to enhance the quality of medical graduates and elevate the level of medical education to meet international academic standards.<\/p>\n
