{"id":8933,"date":"2026-03-15T01:07:55","date_gmt":"2026-03-14T22:07:55","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/en.comed.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=8933"},"modified":"2026-07-15T01:26:06","modified_gmt":"2026-07-14T22:26:06","slug":"enhancing-academic-awareness-through-a-specialized-scientific-workshop-on-pain-physiology","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/en.comed.uobaghdad.edu.iq\/?p=8933","title":{"rendered":"Enhancing Academic Awareness through a Specialized Scientific Workshop on Pain Physiology"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">\n<p data-path-to-node=\"2\">&#8220;In line with its ongoing commitment to consolidating academic quality and elevating scientific standards, the Quality Assurance Division at the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, in cooperation with the Department of Physiology, organized a specialized scientific workshop titled <b data-path-to-node=\"2\" data-index-in-node=\"290\">&#8220;Physiology of Pain&#8221;<\/b> on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at the Department of Physiology\u2019s hall, with the participation of several faculty members and college students.<\/p>\n<p data-path-to-node=\"3\">The lectures\u00a0 were\u00a0 Dr. Jalal Alwan and Dr. Fares Kadhim from the Department of Physiology. The sessions covered key scientific aspects, including an introduction to the concept and physiology of pain, its various types and origins, and the sensory and motor pathways transmitting pain sensations to higher brain centers.
