A recent master's thesis evaluated the effectiveness and side effects of two hair removal systems for women with Polycystic Ovary Syndrome. The study, conducted at the University of Baghdad's College of Medicine, focused on the Triple Wavelength Laser System and Intense Pulsed Light System. The thesis concluded that while both systems were effective in reducing hair density, the Triple Wavelength Laser showed greater effectiveness and safety compared to the Intense Pulsed Light. The study also evaluated two measurement methods, finding that image processing using MATLAB software was faster and more accurate than the traditional method of measuring hair density. The thesis was presented by student Rassl Anwar Dawood and supervised by Dr. Rizan Abdulhassan and Dr. Mouda Musa Fengan, with a committee chaired by Dr. Hanan Luay Sadiq and including Dr. Naaman Salman Dawood and Dr. Janan Hussein Taha.
