The study aims to identify Pseudomonas aeroginosa bacteria using morphological characteristics and biochemical tests, using the Vitek device and polymerase chain reaction technology to detect virulence genes and antibiotic resistance genes, and performing a sanger sequencing test. The researcher concluded from her study of genetic patterns and their relationship to the occurrence of resistance to antibiotics used as a treatment for these bacteria, and knowledge of the genetic patterns associated with the virulence of bacteria. The thesis was done by student Fatima Rahim Wadi, supervised by A. M. Dr.. Maryam Karim Ali, and a discussion committee headed by Prof. Dr. Haifa Salman Al-Hadithi, and the membership of Prof. Dr. Thanaa Rashid Abdel Rahman, and A. M. Dr.. Azzam Mohsen Abbas.
