In the context of its endeavor to achieve sustainable development goals and achieve quality education that serves the Iraqi academic and educational reality, the University College of Medicine held a meeting for the directors of the years and phases, headed by the Deanship of the College, and in the presence of heads and directors of the years and stages, and the Medical Education Curriculum Committee at the college, on Sunday, the twenty-eighth of This January. The meeting aimed to discuss several topics, including following up on the implementation of theoretical, scientific, and clinical teaching sessions for various stages, while working to find mechanisms to ensure the implementation of these sessions, as well as following up on the flow of the educational process, the challenges it faces, and ways to solve and overcome them. The meeting produced a number of results during which a number of procedures and policies were agreed upon, which will likely be held in a meeting with the Curriculum Committee to review them for the purpose of submitting recommendations regarding them to the esteemed College Council for discussion by the Council and calling for their approval and implementation later. It is also scheduled to coincide with a meeting in this regard with the faculty members at the college to exchange opinions and ideas about these procedures to achieve medical education that is consistent with the curriculum and policies of the parent college and parallels the scientific progress taking place in major international medical universities.
