The College of Medicine won Tennis championship at the University of Baghdad. The College ranked first in the University Student Tennis Championship. Our college was represented in the tournament activities that were held within the university sports curriculum for the second semester by the student “Amjad Samir Ibrahim,” a third-year student at the college, who deservedly won the championship title. Our college also achieved second place in the sporting events of the same tournament in ground tennis for female students, with the student “Istabraq Thamer Hassan,” a third-year student at the college, winning the silver medal. These achievements of the college in the areas of student activities come as a result of the care and support provided by the dean of the college and the officials of the student activities unit to students, especially those who excel in sports fields, as well as the preparation of appropriate training plans and programs, which qualify them to continue the path of sports excellence alongside their diligence and academic excellence. The College of Medicine wins third place in the Music Festival of the University of Baghdad The College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, won the third prize with the participation of its students in the music festival as part of the artistic activities of the second course, which was held on the stage of the Student Activities department at the University of Baghdad on the morning of the twentieth of February. The artistic activity comes within the annual curriculum organized by the Student Activities Department at the University of Baghdad, as fourth-year student Ali Muayyad Abdel-Wafi participated in playing the musical piano as a representative of the students of the College of Medicine, thus reflecting the college’s interest in student fields and activities in addition to scientific interests. The activity included various artistic activities that varied between solo and group playing on multiple musical instruments, and individual and group singing performances performed by twenty-three colleges and large groups of students.
