Goal of the Course

This module deals with pathology of all systems in the human body discussing the pathogenesis, morphologic features of all diseases related to these systems:

  1. Cardiovascular system
  2. Respiratory system
  3. Hematology (RBCs, WBCs, Blood transfusion, bleeding disorders)
  4. Lymphoid system
  5. Breast
  6. Female genital tract
  7. Male genital tract
  8. Urinary system
  9. GIT system
  10. Liver
  11. Pancreas and gall bladder
  12. Musculoskeletal system
  13. Central nervous system
  14. Skin
  15. ENT
  16. Blood Bank Field Visit

Outcome of this Module

A. Cognitive and Theoretical Goals:

Pathogenesis, clinical features, diagnostic morphologic features (gross & Microscopic) of diseases of all body systems.

B. Skills:

Interpretation of common histopathological abnormalities (gross in body systems).

  1. Written exams (single choice and modified essay questions)
