The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad held the fourth session of the College Council, chaired by Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul Hasan Manea Al Alwany , the Dean of the College, and attended by the members of the College Council, to discuss a number of vital issues related to academic and administrative affairs. This session is part of a series of regular meetings aimed at enhancing the performance of the college and developing the educational process in line with the college's vision and mission of providing distinguished medical education.
During the session, several important topics were addressed, including curriculum development plans, enhancing scientific research, and improving the college's infrastructure to support the quality of education and medical training. The challenges facing the college were also reviewed, along with ways to address them.
In a gesture of appreciation for the efforts made by the college staff, the Dean honored the members of the Scientific Affairs Unit in recognition of their ongoing efforts in coordinating and organizing academic and scientific work. Dr. Basim Muhammad Ibrahim, who led the unit's efforts with high efficiency, along with Ms. Zainah Hussein and Miss Raqiya Ali, who contributed effectively to achieving tangible progress in managing scientific affairs, were recognized.
The Dean emphasized the importance of continuing this persistent approach to achieve further successes and enhance the college's position as a leading scientific institution in the field of medical education at both the local and international levels.
At the end of the session, there was a reaffirmation of the commitment to continue striving for improvements in the college's academic and administrative performance, and to foster a collaborative work environment that contributes to achieving the college's vision and goals.
