Since its foundation, our college has proudly contributed to the graduation of generations of physicians who have played a vital role in serving communities both in Iraq and abroad.
From its earliest days, the College has carried a clear mission: to prepare physicians with strong scientific, clinical, and humanistic competence, capable of meeting health challenges and keeping pace with global scientific and technological advances in medicine and healthcare.
Today, the College continues to pursue its strategic objectives through:
Preparing distinguished medical graduates who contribute to the advancement of healthcare services.
Supporting and developing medical research that addresses the needs of society.
Updating curricula in line with international standards and academic accreditation.
Strengthening clinical and practical training to align with modern medical practice.

The faculty members and physicians of the College play a central role in teaching hospitals and specialized centers, combining their responsibility of providing direct medical care to patients with their academic mission of teaching and training medical students and residents—thus ensuring integration between education and healthcare.
The College leadership is committed to rehabilitating and modernizing its facilities in a manner that reflects both heritage and contemporary scientific progress, while also reinforcing its academic and research standing locally and internationally. Our aim is to remain a leading institution in preparing competent physicians committed to professional excellence and human values.
