Admissions to the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad occur through the national Central Admission System. Students who graduate from the scientific high school track compete for placement by achieving a high secondary school percentage.

The Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research sets eligibility thresholds each cycle, and placement is allocated based on rank and available seats.

After placement, students must complete registration with the College’s Undergraduate Studies Division, including submission of certified documents and fulfillment of other administrative requirements.
