Unit Objectives

The Cultural Relations Unit aims to raise the scientific efficiency of the college members, including teachers and employees, through participation in scientific conferences held in universities and scientific centers outside Iraq, in addition to missions, fellowships, study leaves, training and development courses held for students in universities around the world according to their specializations, in order to introduce them to foreign cultures and raise their scientific level.

Tasks of the Cultural Relations Unit

• Promoting applications from applicants from teachers and employees for missions, fellowships and leaves.
• Circulating the scientific activities that we receive from the Cultural Relations Department of the University Presidency.
• Following up on the affairs of students outside Iraq regarding extending the study period.
• Following up with the Relations Department at the University to obtain the necessary approvals.
• Following up on the delegates after their return from the delegation and issuing the separation and commencement orders.
• Documenting and archiving all issued books.
• Coordinating with the Graduate Studies Division regarding master's and doctoral students for research fellowships.
