The Deanship of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, met on Thursday morning, the twenty-first of December of this year, with all first-year teachers in Al-Kindi Hall in the college. The meeting, which was chaired by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ameen Al-Alwani, was attended by the Assistant Dean for Scientific and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Haifa Salman Al-Hadithi, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Dr. Uday Taher Al-Hashemi, and the Director of Medical Education, Professor Dr. Kifah Hamdan Abdul Ghafour. The meeting discussed a number of scientific issues, including giving lectures according to the schedules announced to students, focusing on the scientific material and evaluating the quality of lectures in accordance with the college’s policy and the ministry’s curriculum. The meeting resulted in the college professors confirming their keenness to perform their duties to the fullest extent, and their commitment to the announced scientific lecture schedule and to serve the college’s integrated curriculum. It was also decided to activate the work of the review and performance evaluation committee, in addition to directing work to maintain the classrooms in order to build an academic future for our students.
