The Deanship of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, with Dr. Salman Al-Rawaf, Professor of Public Health Medicine in Britain and Director of the WHO Collaborative Center – Imperial College London in the United Kingdom, urged ways to activate joint work mechanisms between the College of Medicine and Imperial College London.
This came during the reception of Assist. Prof. Dr. Ameen Abdul-Hasan Manea Al-Alwany, Dean of the College, to Dr. Al-Rawaf, in the Deanship of the College, on Tuesday, corresponding to the twenty-eighth of last February. The meeting was attended by the assistant dean of the college for scientific and administrative affairs, and a number of heads and faculty members of the college.
The meeting included a discussion of several axes that emphasized the focus on common scientific aspects, the quality of the curricula taught in the college, as well as seeking to activate scientific visits between the two sides. It was agreed to send a delegation from the College of Medicine to visit the university in Britain in the near future to review its curricula.
