Baghdad College of Medicine Hosts Students from the Electrical Engineering Technical College

The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad welcomed students from the Biomedical Engineering Technology Department at the Electrical Engineering Technical College for a practical scientific visit. The visit aimed to enhance the integration of knowledge between engineering disciplines and modern medical sciences, and to familiarize the students with the practical environments and technologies used in the educational laboratories and the Clinical Skills Center.

The tour included learning about the mechanisms of operating modern medical equipment in the laboratories, the role of the technical engineer in ensuring the efficiency and continuity of medical systems, and the medical simulation technologies used to train students in handling various clinical cases.

Those in charge of the visit emphasized the importance of such scientific activities in solidifying the students’ practical skills and developing their technical and engineering abilities in line with the requirements of modern healthcare institutions. The students demonstrated great enthusiasm for the field experiences, which highlighted the importance of integrating engineering precision with specialized medical practice.
