In the Name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful
“On National Sovereignty Day… We Renew Our Commitment to Keep the Flag of Iraq Flying High with Knowledge and Dignity.”
On this distinguished national occasion, Iraqi National Sovereignty Day, we recall with the utmost pride and honor the profound values of dignity, sovereignty, and national pride. We reaffirm that the sovereignty of our homeland is the most precious trust, one that must be safeguarded with unwavering dedication and strengthened through the knowledge, determination, and steadfast will of its people.
It is my great pleasure, on my own behalf and on behalf of all members of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad—including faculty members, researchers, and students—to extend my highest congratulations and sincere best wishes to the great people of Iraq. We pray to Almighty Allah to protect our beloved Iraq and to bless it with enduring security and stability, prosperity, and continued advancement.
On this glorious national occasion, the College of Medicine, a longstanding institution of academic excellence and a beacon of knowledge at the University of Baghdad, reaffirms its commitment to continuing its noble mission of serving the Iraqi people. It remains dedicated to educating and preparing generations of healthcare professionals who carry both the instruments of healing and the banner of their nation, while upholding the highest values of belonging, professional integrity, and national responsibility.
Long live Iraq—free, proud, and independent. May its sovereignty forever remain a resounding symbol of honor and glory.
Peace, mercy, and blessings of Allah be upon you.
