The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad achieved advanced positions in the competitive exam for the Creativity and Excellence Award for Medical Colleges in Iraq by winning five seats and topping the colleges participating in the competition in the number of winning students. The distinguished student, “Taha Mustafa Muhammad,” ranked second in the exam, while his colleagues obtained advanced success levels, which is an achievement added to the college that reflects the sobriety and quality of education in it. The competition, whose activities were hosted by the Faculty of Medicine, Al-Nahrain University, took place on Monday morning, December 4, 2023, in the presence of the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, and the Head of the Scientific Supervision and Evaluation Agency, Professor Dr. Salah Al-Fatlawi. The competitive examination was also attended by the Chairman of the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges in Iraq, Professor Dr. Anis Khalil Nayel, the Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Lecturer Dr. Uday Taher Muhammad, representing the college, and a number of deans of medical colleges in Iraq. The first winning students will be directly accepted into the Iraqi Board of Medical Specializations and the Arab Board of Medical Specializations in cooperation with the Ministry of Health
