On Wednesday, the twentieth of March, the Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, undertook a field tour in which he followed the details and stages of the rehabilitation of the physiology and tissue laboratories in the college. The Dean of the College was accompanied in his follow-up by the Assistant Dean of the College for Administrative Affairs, the Engineer of the Construction and Projects Department, and the Head of the Physiology department, as well as the head of the Laboratory Quality Unit in the Quality Assurance Division at the College. In an interview with the Dean of the College about the rehabilitation of the Physiology department laboratories, he pointed out that “the rehabilitation of these laboratories will take into account all the requirements of international quality standards for laboratories, in a manner commensurate with the specificity of the scientific material of each laboratory.” He also stressed the importance of making use of good laboratory equipment, not destroying it, and preserving and rehabilitating it in a way that maintains its quality for use in other college laboratories. Regarding the speed of completion and adherence to timings in the rehabilitation of these laboratories, the Dean explained, “God willing, they will enter active service during the next three months, and this will lead to a real laboratory educational environment by rehabilitating the practical aspect of the academic program in the college.
