The Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul-Hassan Manea Al-Alwany, received the President of Al-Mustansiriya University, Professor Dr. Safaa Taqi Al-Essawi, in a meeting during which a range of educational and academic issues were discussed, along with ways to strengthen mutual cooperation.
The meeting addressed several topics related to advancing the educational process and enhancing academic performance. It also provided an opportunity to exchange perspectives and ideas on expanding areas of scientific and intellectual collaboration and strengthening institutional coordination in ways that support educational programmes and contribute to the development of the university environment.
Both parties emphasized the importance of maintaining continuous communication and coordination between academic institutions and promoting the exchange of scientific expertise and experiences. Such efforts, they noted, would strengthen integration among Iraqi universities and support the objectives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research in enhancing the quality of higher education and its outcomes.
This meeting forms part of broader efforts to strengthen academic ties and promote institutional openness among Iraqi universities, while consolidating joint initiatives aimed at advancing education, developing scientific research, and supporting the academic and scientific progress of the country.
