The Minister of Higher Education honors the Dean of the College of Medicine on the occasion of obtaining international accreditation On the occasion of the World Federation for Medical Education’s announcement that Iraq had obtained international recognition and accreditation, the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research organized a major celebration to honor the deans of medical colleges for this most prominent historical achievement at the Iraqi medical academic level. During the ceremony, His Excellency the Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, honored the Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, Dr. Ameen Al-Alwani, for the outstanding scientific impact of the college, the solidity of its educational programs, and its reliance in its policy and procedures on quality assurance standards in evaluating programs for medical education. On this joyful occasion, the Deanship of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, congratulates the members of the educational family, the college’s employees, and its dear students on the arrival of their College of Medicine, “Baghdad Medicine,” to the ranks of international accreditation, which will reap the fruits of its scientific achievements to promising generations.
