The College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, represented by Assistant Professor Dr. Muayad Abbas Fadel, a faculty member in the Surgery Department, participated in the World Conference of the Federation of European Bariatric Surgery Societies held in Vienna, Austria.
The consultant in obesity surgery and advanced laparoscopic surgery presented scientific research on his experience with the new double-lane gastric bypass surgery for treating morbid obesity and its complications.
This conference is considered one of the largest international conferences on obesity surgery, with a large number of bariatric surgery experts from around the world participating. It is held annually in different countries.
