From the historic campus of the University of Baghdad College of Medicine—and in collaboration with the College of Medicine, University of Babylon—the activities of the Third Iraqi Echocardiography Conference 2025 have officially commenced under the theme:
“Echocardiography: Current Status and the Age of Artificial Intelligence.”
🔶 The conference features broad participation from professors, researchers, and physicians representing various Iraqi universities and medical centers. It serves as a scientific platform for exchanging experiences and discussing the latest advancements in the field of cardiac imaging.
🔶 In his opening remarks, Dean of the College of Medicine – University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Ameen Abdul Hassan Mani’ Al-Alwani, emphasized the importance of echocardiography in advancing cardiac diagnostics and saving lives. He also highlighted that this collaboration between Baghdad and Babylon represents not only a scientific engagement, but a humanistic and civilizational bond rooted in Iraq’s rich heritage.
This joint hosting of the conference by Baghdad and Babylon Colleges of Medicine affirms their pioneering role in medical education and scientific research, and delivers a clear message:
