As part of efforts to strengthen academic collaboration, the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad hosted Mr. Rowan White, First Secretary of the Australian Embassy in Iraq, on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
The visiting delegation was formally received by Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul Hassan Mani’ Al-Alwany, Dean of the College of Medicine, in the presence of Professor Dr. Enas Khalifa Al-Sharqi, Director of the Department of Scholarships and Cultural Relations at the University of Baghdad.
During the meeting, discussions centered on developing avenues for academic cooperation and scientific partnerships between the College of Medicine and leading Australian universities and research institutions.
Mr. White expressed his gratitude for the warm welcome and commended the distinguished academic and research standing of the College.
