As part of its ongoing development plans, the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad is making extensive preparations to inaugurate the newly renovated building of the Department of Anatomy. The comprehensive rehabilitation project included the building’s floors and facilities, encompassing the lecture halls and laboratories of both the Departments of Anatomy and Physiology, thereby enhancing the scientific and research environment for students and faculty alike.

On Sunday, September 28, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul Hassan Mani’ Al-Alwani, accompanied by the Administrative Assistant Dean, Assistant Professor Dr. Haider Majid Al-Zaidi, conducted an on-site inspection tour. During the visit, they reviewed the stages of completion and the contributions of the engineering and service units of the university and the college, who exerted outstanding efforts to complete the project in accordance with the highest standards.

The Dean affirmed that this project embodies the college’s commitment to providing a modern educational environment that aligns with the requirements of academic and research advancement. He praised the spirit of collaboration and responsibility demonstrated by the working teams in achieving this important milestone.

With this achievement, the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad continues its leadership in developing its infrastructure, strengthening its academic mission, and preparing its students and faculty for a bright scientific future.
