Visit of Delegation from Al-Kafeel University College of Medicine
The College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, received a delegation from Al-Kafeel University College of Medicine on Sunday, the 18th of June. The delegation was headed by Dr. Sami Maki Al-Hakak, the dean of the college, and Dr. Fatima Karim Al-Bakaa, the associate dean for scientific affairs, along with the responsible officials for information technology, registration, and student affairs at the college.
During this visit, ways of joint scientific cooperation in various fields and research areas were discussed. Both parties agreed to activate partnership initiatives in accordance with the directives and visions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research. The aim is to exchange knowledge and academic experiences between academic institutions, which contribute to the development of the educational process in Iraqi universities.
The visiting delegation also conducted a field tour to visit the corridors of the college. They met with several faculty members, as well as officials of scientific and technical units and committees. Additionally, they visited smart classrooms and the OSCI halls. The delegation expressed their admiration for the level of reconstruction and infrastructure development, as well as the scientific and urban advancements witnessed by the college. They also appreciated the preservation of the heritage and archaeological character of the buildings, especially the Dean's building and the meeting hall of the college council.
