In preparation for the new academic year and with the aim of training the teaching staff and building their capabilities in using modern technologies in the educational process, the Anatomy Department at the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, organized a training workshop on the use of modern technology for interactive screens and anatomical tables. This workshop took place on the morning of Sunday, August 20, 2023, under the sponsorship of the college's administration and the supervision of the department's leadership. The workshop included training assistant professors on the use of this type of technology, which was delivered by specialized engineers and technicians in the field. The electronic laboratory at the department has been equipped with five smart interactive screens and anatomical tables to enhance the department's efficiency in accommodating as many students as possible in one lab. Its capacity has been increased to accommodate up to one hundred students, especially as their numbers have reached nearly seven hundred. It's worth noting that the installation of the anatomical tables, four in total, took place in 2019, while the installation of the five interactive screens along with monitoring screens occurred in the past July. This step is part of a comprehensive development campaign undertaken by the college in various areas.
