The Dean of the College of Medicine – University of Baghdad, Prof. Dr. Ameen Abdul Hassan Mani’ Al-Alwani, received a delegation from the Department of Construction and Projects at the Presidency of the University of Baghdad to discuss the project of rehabilitating the student club at the college and transforming it into a comprehensive cultural club.
The project aims to strengthen the cultural, intellectual, and artistic dimensions of students and faculty, making the club a space for dialogue, creativity, and exchange of ideas—fully aligned with the college’s mission to build an integrated academic environment that combines education, culture, and community engagement.
The committee confirmed that, following its rehabilitation, the club will provide dedicated facilities for cultural and student activities, in addition to serving as a center for interaction between faculty and students, thereby fostering a stronger sense of belonging and teamwork.
This initiative reflects the commitment of the University of Baghdad and its College of Medicine to supporting cultural and developmental projects that enrich student life with dimensions beyond academics—embracing culture, creativity, and the holistic development of the university personality.
