The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad continues to achieve significant scientific accomplishments and maintains its leading positions in research fields. The college recognizes and honors its accomplished faculty members in scientific forums. Dr. Inas Khalifa AL Sharquie, a lecturer in the Microbiology Department, was honored for presenting a scientific research paper at the sixth seminar of the University of Sulaimani. Her research paper was selected as one of the top ten Iraqi research papers published in 2022 out of a total of 22,000 scientific research papers in Iraq. AL Sharquie's participation in the seminar was based on an invitation from the University of Sulaimani to contribute valuable research to the academic community. This reflects the commitment of faculty members at the College of Medicine to serve the national scientific sector and enhance the reputation of the college on various academic platforms.
