Within the activities of the Continuous Education Unit, the Journal Unit at the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, conducted a workshop titled "Choosing a Journal for Research Publication with Practical Application - College of Medicine Journal as a Model." The workshop was presented by an Assistant Lecturer and the Head of Translators.
This workshop, held in the second Smart Hall of the Basic Sciences Building, aimed to raise awareness among postgraduate research students about the significance of selecting a reputable scientific journal for research publication and how to avoid predatory journals.
The workshop encompassed two key topics. The first topic covered the methodology of selecting a reputable journal, while the second focused on the process of creating an account and registering with a journal, demonstrated through practical application using the College of Medicine Journal as an example.
As a result of the workshop, attendees are expected to acquire the knowledge required to choose a reputable scientific journal and successfully publish their research in such journals.
