With deep sadness and hearts believing in the decree of Allah, the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad organized a mourning ceremony in front of the college's dean's office to recite Surah Al-Fatiha for the soul of the student Hisham Basim Adnan – a third-year undergraduate student, in the presence of the College Dean, Assistant Professor Dr Ameen Al Alwany, and the Assistant Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Hayfaa Salman Al-Hadithi, along with a gathering of faculty members and students of the college. This gathering is a tribute to the good character and noble ethics that the deceased possessed, as acknowledged by his professors and fellow students. May Allah have mercy on the deceased and grant him a place in the highest gardens of eternity. To Him we belong, and to Him we shall return.
