The Curriculum Committee of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad convened for a regular meeting, chaired by the Deputy Dean for Academic and Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Haifa Salman Al-Hadithi, and the Committee Chairman, Professor Dr. Ali Mohammed Jawad.
Key scientific and technical issues were on the agenda, including the enhancement of the college's official website. The Committee highlighted the necessity for staff to engage with the site by sharing educational content.
In alignment with directives from the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, the committee has resolved to introduce a new subject focusing on Baath crimes for second-year students and to combine the subjects of Human Rights and Democracy for first-years, each with two study units.
The session also showcased a discussion led by Assistant Professor Dr. Bassam Musa Sadiq on his work in medical genetics, enriching the meeting's academic discourse.
