Sponsored by the Deanship of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, the Medical Education Unit at the college held a workshop entitled “How to Write Text and Multiple-Choice Questions,” presented by both Professor Dr. Shatha Farouk Abdullah and Professor Dr. Hedef Dhafer Al-Yassin, who are teaching at the college, in the medical education hall on Wednesday morning. Corresponding to the thirteenth of December 2023. The workshop, which targeted a group of new professors and teaching staff at the college, aimed to introduce how to develop and formulate examination questions based on the blue map and clinical problems in order to set them correctly and in accordance with the objectives of medical education and in line with the fourth goal of the sustainable development goals of quality education. The workshop included two axes: the first discussed the mechanism of formulating multiple-choice questions in accordance with the guiding rules followed globally, followed by a practical application to review common errors in developing questions. The second axis dealt with an explanation of developing textual questions and distributing grades on them in a way that serves the aim of the lecture..
