New Meeting of the Curriculum Committee at the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad To discuss updating curricula and identifying the most prominent educational challenges, the Curriculum Committee at the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, holds its regular meeting in the presence of the Deanship of the College, represented by Professor Dr. Haifa Salman Al-Hadithi, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Muhammad Basil Ismail, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, and members of the committee. The goal of the meeting, which took place this Monday morning, the eighth of January, in the conference room in the medical education building, was to identify the obstacles to draw the general lines and details of the educational process, and to match them with the curriculum and scientific strategy of the college and in accordance with modern medical education. The meeting included several topics, including determining the hours and units for different years, and discussing the technical challenges in some of the modules for the first and second stages, in order to achieve balanced teaching hours that serve the educational journey of college students. At the conclusion of the meeting, the attendees agreed to submit their proposals and the general structure to be presented to the esteemed College Council to take the appropriate action regarding them.
