The visit program includes an agreement to provide modern training programs for students of Iraqi medical colleges in order to provide high-quality health care Within the framework of strengthening the bonds of scientific cooperation and exchanging medical experiences and knowledge, the Deanship of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, represented by the Dean and Assistants to the Dean of the College, received the visiting professor, Dr. Abdul Razzaq Musa, a consultant in pediatrics at the Women’s and Children’s Hospital affiliated with the University of Adelaide in Australia, and one of the graduates of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad. The visit program included agreeing on the idea of a project to train medical college students in Iraq to resuscitate children by involving them in training workshops consistent with the standards of training programs and the requirements of advanced medical education in international universities. These training workshops aim to enable students to perform pulmonary resuscitation for children, in addition to creating a mechanism for prior cooperation in training graduate doctors. They include two days of training, the first in the smart halls in the IT department of the Basic Sciences Building, and the second practical training to perform resuscitation in the medical skills laboratory. It is noteworthy that this training program will be implemented under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Medicine and the supervision of the Scientific Committee in the Pediatrics deparyment at the College. After completing the training, students will be granted a certificate certified by the University of Adelaide.
