Within the framework of applying the accreditation steps The Institutional Accreditation Committee of the University of Baghdad, and in support of the government program, met the Institutional Accreditation Committee at the College of Medicine, headed by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ameen Al-Alwani, the Rapporteur of the Committee and the Head of the Quality Assurance Division, Assistant Professor Dr. Rand Riyad Hafez, this morning, Sunday, the seventeenth of this March. The meeting's goal was to achieve education quality standards to achieve full institutional accreditation with its eight axes, which included the axes of educational institutional strategy, governance and administration, financial and material, faculty members, students, scientific research, community service, and the curricula axes. The attendees discussed the mechanism for starting to collect the required evidence and documents regarding each of the elements of the standards mentioned in the Institutional Accreditation Guide. The committee members, including college professors , also asked a number of questions with the aim of arriving at accurate solutions.
