On the occasion of the month of goodness and divine blessings, and under the generous patronage of Professor Dr. Amin Abdul Hassan Mane Al-Alwani, the Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, the college held a blessed Quranic gathering titled "Noor Al-Qulub Ramadan" in the grand conference hall of the college on Thursday, the twenty-eighth of March 2024.
The Quranic gathering commenced with fragrant recitations from the verses of the great Quran presented by students of the college who are memorizers of the wise remembrance. Afterward, the Dean of the college delivered a speech welcoming the attendees, who are persevering youths committed to the teachings of our noble Islamic religion and the principles of the Holy Quran.
Dr. Mustafa Naima, a faculty member, also delivered a speech in which he praised the college's deanery for hosting these gatherings and religious events that call for spreading wisdom, exhortation, and the noble remembrance. He also highlighted the importance of fortifying the youth by adhering to acts of obedience, resorting to the Holy Quran, and enhancing the religious and ethical values that contribute to building a healthy society.
Moreover, the gathering's activities included the presentation of expressive speeches by the guests of the gathering and the college students on the issues of our Arab nation, as well as reciting poems and religious verses on this occasion.
