Starting the implementation of the first and most important step in the field of digital archiving of the history of the College of Medicine and the Medical Journal
The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad launches its pioneering project in the field of digital archiving of the history of the college and the College of Medicine Journal to document a journey that spanned 88 years from the date of establishment and publication in 1936 AD of the last century as a magazine that publishes news of the medical body in Arabic and research of the college's teaching staff in medical fields since 1941 AD.
With the supervision of the Deanship of the College of Medicine, represented by both the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ameen' Al-Alwani and the Dean's assistants, the archiving process of the medical journal began on Sunday, August 4, 2024, with the participation of the Journal Unit and the Library and Free Education and Information Technology department and a number of young doctors from the college graduates and the promising generation.
The immortal journey of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, continues, a journey of originality, distinction and leadership in medical sciences. The College of Medicine Journal, despite some interruptions in publication, has continued to provide the medical field with specialized medical research and studies, from 1959 to the present day.
