In a solemn scientific atmosphere that summarize a year full of achievements, the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad hosted the Creativity and Excellence Award exam for top medical colleges in Iraq, coinciding with the end of 2025 in a spirit of academic excellence and institutional support for outstanding students.

Seventy-seven male and female students from various Iraqi medical colleges participated in the event, which was sponsored by Dr. Naeem Al-Aboudi, Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research, and supervised by the Committee of Deans of Medical Colleges in Iraq, headed by the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Ameen Alwany.

The exam questions were distinguished by their high scientific level, carefully designed to suit the abilities of the participating students and measure their analytical and cognitive skills according to advanced academic standards. This reflects the organizers’ commitment to fostering a culture of rigorous scientific competition.

At the conclusion of the exam, the results were announced via a dedicated exam platform at the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad. The names of the top ten students were announced, and the final results were then approved. The top three students were selected and honored by the Dean of the College in recognition of their excellence and scientific efforts, and to reaffirm the College’s role in supporting young talent and nurturing student excellence.

It is worth noting that the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad continues to embrace and support medical students from various Iraqi universities, stemming from its academic and national mission and its ongoing pursuit of excellence, the promotion of innovation, and the development of a generation of medical professionals capable of confidently and competently leading the future of medical education in Iraq.
