The College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad achieved a new academic and cultural milestone, adding to its distinguished record, by winning first place in the final stage of the University of Baghdad Holy Quran Competition, held during the holy month of Ramadan, with wide participation from across the university’s colleges.
On this occasion, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ameen Al-Alwany, extended his congratulations and best wishes to the winning student, Jaafar Nawfal Ali, for his honorable performance and outstanding representation of the college. He also commended the efforts of those responsible for this initiative, which resulted in this well-deserved achievement.
This achievement is the fruit of dedicated efforts and intensive preparation for the competition, along with the direct follow-up and supervision of Dr. Marwa Jamil, Head of the University Psychological Counseling Unit at the College, who nominated the participating student as part of her ongoing support for student activities, talent development, and capacity building.
This achievement is further evidence of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad’s commitment to supporting cultural and Quranic activities, alongside its academic and scientific excellence, thus contributing to the development of well-rounded students.
