On Thursday, January 29th, Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul-Hassan Al-Alwany, Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, met with a number of the college’s academic and administrative staff, as well as heads of departments and administrative and scientific units.

In his address during the meeting, the Dean focused on rights and job security, strongly emphasizing that “all the rights and benefits of our college’s staff are fully protected and guaranteed by applicable laws and regulations that safeguard your efforts and ensure a stable and fair work environment.” This emphasis was intended to reassure everyone and underscore that academic excellence is based on a supportive environment that upholds the rights of its members.

Professor Dr. Ameen Al-Alwany also expressed his appreciation and praise to all staff members, saying, “I commend everyone for their high sense of responsibility, professional discipline, and boundless dedication to their duties, whether in the educational, research, or administrative fields. This commitment is the solid foundation upon which our college’s excellence is built, and it is the true driving force behind its progress and advancement.”

This meeting was held with the aim of strengthening cooperation and opening channels of direct dialogue, and continuing to work in a spirit of teamwork towards achieving the college’s strategic goals on the academic and research levels, and raising the level of medical and educational services it provides.
