The Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul-Hassan Al-Alwani, initiated a series of intensive meetings with senior computer science staff and the technical support teams for the smart halls, as part of early preparations for the final exams scheduled for May 9th of this year for the 2025-2026 academic year.

The meetings focused on outlining the technical procedures for managing the electronic exams and ensuring the readiness of the digital infrastructure within the smart halls, thus contributing to a stable and secure examination environment. Technical support mechanisms within the halls were also discussed, particularly those related to electronic monitoring and the immediate resolution of any potential technical problems.

The attendees discussed the most prominent challenges that technical staff and hall supervisors might face before, during, and after the exams, proposing practical solutions to overcome them. This aims to enhance the smooth operation of the process and minimize any obstacles that might affect the examination procedures.

In the same context, the Dean directed the organization of a specialized introductory workshop on the operation of the examination platform. During this workshop, technical staff were trained on the details of its operation, how to handle emergencies, and how to improve their technical readiness.

These steps are part of the college’s vision to promote digital transformation in the educational process, and to ensure that exams are conducted according to the highest standards of quality and organization, in order to achieve fairness and transparency for all students.
