With profound sorrow and grief, and with hearts believing in God’s decree and destiny, the Dean and staff of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad mourn the loss of Professor Dr. Khudair Abbas Al-Khalisi, a faculty member specializing in internal medicine and hematology, who passed away after a long illness, following a distinguished academic and medical career dedicated to serving medical education and patients.

The deceased was among the professors who left a lasting positive impact on his students and colleagues, distinguished by his knowledge, character, and unwavering commitment to his academic and humanitarian mission.

On this sad occasion, the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul-Hassan  Al-Alwany, on his own behalf and on behalf of the entire college community, extends his deepest condolences and sincere sympathies to the family of the deceased, his colleagues, friends, and students, asking God Almighty to grant him His abundant mercy, admit him to His spacious Paradise, and grant his family and loved ones patience and solace. Indeed, we belong to God, and to Him we shall return.
