Under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul-Hassan Al-Alwany, the Student Activities Division – Cultural Activities Unit at the college organized a unique Ramadan cultural competition. The event witnessed wide participation and engagement from the college’s students, in a Ramadan atmosphere imbued with the spirit of knowledge and positive competition.

The competition included various segments, beginning with a beautiful recitation from the Holy Quran, followed by a series of medical, religious, and cultural questions. These questions aimed to enhance students’ general knowledge and foster a spirit of scientific competition among them, as well as to create a vibrant and interactive atmosphere on campus during the holy month of Ramadan.

The event saw the participation of a large number of college students who demonstrated remarkable enthusiasm and engagement with the competition’s segments, reflecting their commitment to combining academic excellence with participation in meaningful cultural activities.

During the event, the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul-Hassan Al-Alwany, delivered a speech of thanks and encouragement to the participating students, praising their enthusiasm and engagement. He called for strengthening the spirit of brotherhood, tolerance, and peace among them, emphasizing that cultural and student activities contribute to instilling human values ​​and building a positive university environment based on cooperation and mutual respect.

At the conclusion of the competition, symbolic gifts were distributed to the winning students in recognition of their outstanding participation and to encourage them to continue developing their scientific and cultural abilities. This initiative reflects the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad’s commitment to supporting student activities that contribute to building a well-rounded university student, both academically and culturally.
