A field trip that enhances the spirit of communication within classrooms

In a demonstration reflecting the college leadership’s commitment to engaging with students and closely monitoring their academic progress, the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul-Hassan Al-Alwany, conducted a field visit to the college’s corridors and classrooms. During the visit, he met with a number of students and observed the progress of theoretical and practical lectures.

The Dean attended some of the lectures, observing the students’ lessons and interacting with them in a positive academic atmosphere. He emphasized the importance of academic commitment and maximizing the benefits of the lectures, considering them the cornerstone of developing a competent physician.

Professor Dr. Al-Alwany also reviewed the students’ academic circumstances and listened to their opinions and suggestions regarding the educational environment and mechanisms for its improvement. He encouraged them to present their ideas and initiatives that contribute to enhancing the educational process within the college.

During the visit, the Dean affirmed that direct communication with students is a fundamental aspect of the philosophy of work at the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, given its role in supporting students academically and psychologically and creating a university environment that fosters creativity and excellence.

This tour reflected the college administration’s keenness to directly monitor the educational process on the ground and to enhance communication with students inside classrooms.
