Based on the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research and the University of Baghdad Presidency, and following the issuance of the university order, the Dean of the College of Medicine announces the official lists of students accepted into postgraduate programs (Higher Diploma, Master’s, and Doctorate) for the academic year 2026-2027.
The applicants’ files underwent rigorous electronic review and selection processes in accordance with the Ministry’s regulations. The details of the admission plan are as follows:
Available Medical Specialties: The nominations included various clinical and scientific specialties, most notably surgery, radiology and medical imaging, rheumatology, and family and community medicine.
Distribution of Application Channels: Vacant seats were distributed according to merit across the general admission channels, the private-funding channels, and the seats allocated to categories covered by government welfare and privilege laws (families of martyrs, political prisoners, and victims of terrorism).
Approved Admission Status: The final results of the candidates were classified as either “Accepted” within the competitive plan or “Accepted outside the plan” for those included in the officially approved expansions.
The Dean’s Office urges all accepted students to visit the Graduate Studies Department within the specified timeframe to complete registration requirements and bring the required identification documents and original paperwork for legal enrollment.
