Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad Inaugurates the Third Floor of the Anatomy Building – Department of Physiology

Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul-Hassan Manea Al-Alwany, Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, officially inaugurated the third floor of the Anatomy Building, Department of Physiology, following the completion of rehabilitation and equipping works in accordance with the highest technical and educational standards. The inauguration was attended by a distinguished group of the College’s faculty members.
The official inauguration marked the culmination of a series of development initiatives undertaken within the building as part of a strategic plan aimed at modernizing academic infrastructure and enhancing the educational environment in line with the requirements of contemporary medical education.
During his tour of the newly renovated floor, the Dean inspected the scientific laboratories equipped with state-of-the-art instruments and facilities, modern classrooms, as well as offices designated for faculty members. All facilities were designed in accordance with standards that ensure operational efficiency and ease of use, while providing students and teaching staff with integrated educational and practical spaces.
The Dean emphasized that this achievement reflects the College’s commitment to continuing the implementation of comprehensive development programs and its dedication to providing an advanced university environment that contributes to supporting the academic process and reinforcing the College’s distinguished scientific standing at both the national and international levels.
The inauguration of the third floor represents a further step in the ongoing modernization of the College’s facilities and the enhancement of its readiness to meet its aspirations for sustainable educational quality and continuous academic excellence.
