The College of Medicine honors three of its outstanding students in the field of publishing research in international databases.
Dr. Amin Abdulhassan Mani Al-Alwani, the Dean of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, honored three outstanding sixth-year students who excelled in the field of medical research published in internationally recognized scientific journals.
The student research team includes Gaith Ali Khalil, Ali Jafar Hassan, and Jafar Diaa Jafar, who conducted a scientific research titled "Assessing Knowledge, Attitudes, and Practices of University Students in Baghdad Regarding Herpes Infections for Evidence-Based Educational Campaigns."
The scientific research was published under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Fares Hassan Al-Lami, the Head of the Family and Community Medicine Department at the College, in the Frontiers Public Health journal, indexed in Scopus and PubMed databases.
