On Tuesday, November 12, 2024, under the patronage of the Dean of the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad, Professor Dr. Ameen Abdul Hasan Manea Al Alwany, and the supervision of the Associate Dean for Student Affairs, Professor Dr. Haifa Salman Al-Hadithi, a welcoming ceremony was held for the new students.
During the ceremony, the Dean welcomed the new students, congratulating the faculty members on the arrival of a new generation that adds value to the esteemed college. He emphasized that the students are now part of the college family and future colleagues, wishing them success and prosperity throughout their university studies.
The event included several orientation speeches introducing university regulations and guidelines. Informative videos were presented about the various departments and scientific units, as well as the college's educational systems and modern medical curricula. Additionally, second-year students organized a tour for the newcomers, familiarizing them with the college's facilities and departments.
