On the second day of the Global innovation Week activities, corresponding Tuesday, the fourteenth of November, the College of Medicine at the University of Baghdad witnessed the organization of the workshop entitled “Examining cases of neurological and muscular diseases.” The workshop was held under the patronage and presence of Professor Dr. Ameen Al-Alwani, Dean of the College, Assistant Dean for Scientific Affairs, Professor Dr. Haifa Salman Al-Hadithi, and an elite group of college teachers and researchers. The workshop was presented by Professor Omobai from the Singapore Neurological Center and Dr. Abdel Nasser Hussein Al-Abdi, a lecturer in the field of clinical and therapeutic neurophysiology at the college, and targeted professors and students of the board in neurology, clinical neurophysiology and neurology, with the aim of informing them about examining and diagnosing some difficult pathological cases. The workshop highlighted the importance of the history of the disease in diagnosis, clarifying the signs, symptoms, and general weakness and evaluating it, in addition to diagnosis through clinical examination, and a review of those medical conditions that had not been previously diagnosed to be diagnosed in front of the audience.
