A scientific lecture at the College of Medicine in Baghdad sheds light on reproductive health and women’s medical rights
Under the auspices of the Deanship of the College of Medicine, University of Baghdad, a specialized scientific lecture was held on "Reproductive Health and Types of Contraceptives", delivered by Professor Dr. Ali Kubba, a reproductive health consultant from London.
The lecture covered a number of important topics, most notably: child protection, adolescent health, women's rights from a medical perspective, the health of working women, and the health of women at the age of forty. The event was attended by the Dean of the College of Medicine, Professor Dr. Ameen Al-Alwani, and Professor Dr. Haifa Salman Al-Hadith, Assistant Dean for Student Affairs, in addition to a number of professors and students.
The lecture witnessed great interaction from the attendees, as the floor was opened for questions and discussion on the topics raised.
The lecture was organized by the Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the college, and at the end of the session, the Dean expressed his full support for any academic scientific program offered by the Deanship of the College, noting that these initiatives contribute to developing students' skills and are part of the summer training programs.
